San José Fire Fighters knock two-alarm structure fire
On Wednesday, July 4th, 2012 at 12:53 PM, units of the San José Fire Department responded to a report of smoke and fire from a two-story residential structure at 836 North 12th Street. Arriving fire fighters confirmed a working structure fire with heavy smoke and fire showing from the home's garage and second story windows.
Under the direction of Battalion 29 (Olmos) a primary search and fire attack were initiated. No one was found in the home and it was later determined that the residents had been away when the fire broke out.
Fire fighters were able to contain the fire to the original fire building with no damage to any exposures. The blaze was declared under control at 1447 hours. Are you a member of the fire service?
