Two-Alarm Blaze Does Major Damage to San José Home

On Friday, September 4, 2015, at 1042 hours, San José Firefighters responded to multiple reports of a garage fire at 3331 Burgundy Drive.

While en route the crew of Engine 34 reported a column of smoke showing from the area. Units arrived to find a fully involved garage with fire extending into the one-story home's attic.

Firefighters worked quickly to stretch attack lines to the interior and exterior of the structure. Crews were able to prevent the blaze from spreading to neighboring homes while knocking down fire inside the home.

There were no reports of injuries.
