On Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at approximately 10:34 AM, units of the San Jose Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire in a 1,300 square foot one-story, single-family dwelling at 1739 Coralee Drive.
Upon their initial size-up arriving firefighters discovered heavy fire and smoke conditions from the front door and the B-side of the home. An offensive fire attack was immediately initiated as utilities were secured.
Units responding to this incident included Engine 17, Truck 13, Truck 9, Engine 9, Engine 13, Battalion 13, Battalion 10 and Med 30.
Firefighters were able to contain the blaze to the structure of origin while rescuing a family dog from the back yard of the home. No civilians or firefighters were injured.
