Public Safety Agencies Launch Annual Fireworks Safety & Enforcement Campaign

Independence Day celebrations result in over 10,000 people crowding our emergency rooms with fireworks-related injuries nationwide at a cost of more than $100 million annually. Despite the dangers of fireworks, few people understand the associated risks, which include devastating burns, injuries, fires, and even death.

Hospitals, fire departments, and law enforcement agencies encourage residents to celebrate safely by attending outdoor public displays conducted by trained professionals throughout Santa Clara County.
