Fire leaves Cambrian home heavily damaged
On Sunday, February 15th, 2015, just after 4:00 pm, the San José Fire Department responded to a report of an appliance fire inside a one-story, single-family residence at 1919 Laurinda Drive in the city’s Cambrian neighborhood.
Firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke and flames extending throughout the home from a fire that started in a dryer. A second-alarm was struck after flames spread to a fence and threatened an adjacent home. However, firefighters were able to quickly contain the blaze to the original fire building.
There were no injuries, but the home suffered major damage and was uninhabitable. Are you a member of the fire service?
