San José Fire Fighters extricate accident victim

On Tuesday, March 6, 2012, just before 4:30 PM, the San José Fire Department responded to reports of an overturned vehicle on The Alameda in Station 7's first due. Upon arrival, Captain Lorin Engler (E7) confirmed one victim was trapped in a vehicle resting on its side.

With the arrival of Truck 1 and Engine 1 firefighters set about stabilizing the vehicle and removing the victim. The single driver was treated at the scene of the accident and transported to a local hospital.
